Location: Robertson Community Center, 3525 Norwood Ave, Sacramento

G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento is much more than an arts and music education summer camp. We believe that creativity, positivity, and community are key elements of personal and collective empowerment and positive social change. Our Del Paso Heights day camp is a week-long youth program located at the Robertson Community Center. Those age 8-11 who identify as girls, non-binary, trans, or gender-expansive are welcome to attend. Campers will take instrument lessons, rehearse in a band, collaboratively write an original song, participate in daily music, art, and empowerment-related workshops and activities, and perform at a live showcase on Saturday.

GRS offers a sliding scale tuition option for our Del Paso Heights camp participants, with tuition ranging from $0 to $25. We are fully committed to welcoming a diverse group of campers from the DPH community, and our free or sliding scale tuition option ensures that we can achieve this goal. Space is limited to 25 campers.
